Promote Inclusion and Diversity in Children with Lucia Matuonto: Author of Zoe the Crab

Books That Make You and Your Children Experience Life…as a Crab

We’ve all felt out of place, confused about ourselves, like we don’t fit in. This is especially true for our kids who are still learning how the world works. Using an allegory, however — such as, say, a lost, lonely crab– is an excellent way for children to come to understand the world in which they live.

Lucia Matuonto is an author, podcaster and children’s physiotherapist. She is the author of the children’s book series “Zoe the Crab”, a tale promoting inclusion and diversity with children. She is also the host of the online program “Uncut with Lucia” on WorldAuthors.org, a web series which allows people to get to know the authors of their favorite books.
